The Dove of Death

In A.D. 670, after an Irish merchant ship is mercilessly attacked by pirates, Fidelma of Cashel and her companion, Brother Eadulf, manage to escape the slaughter that claims the lives of the captain and a prince. Determined to seek justice for her cousin's death, Fidelma uses her knowledge of Brehon law to track down the killers, embarking on a perilous quest marked by a mysterious symbol of a dove found on the pirates' sails, leading her to confront the enigmatic figure known as The Dove of Death.
