Act of Mercy

In late autumn AD 666, Fidelma of Cashel embarks on a pilgrimage to the shrine of St. James in Spain, seeking reflection on her faith and her relationship with the Saxon monk Eadulf. Unexpectedly, her first love, Cian, reappears, reviving old memories as tensions aboard the ship rise.
