Elizabeth M. Norman, R.N., Ph.D., is an American author, historian, and professor emerita at New York University. Her writing focuses on military nursing, women’s experiences in wartime, and World War II history. She wrote Women at War and We Band of Angels, and co-authored Tears in the Darkness: The Story of the Bataan Death March and Its Aftermath with Michael Norman.
