Chris Kyle was a former U.S. Navy SEAL sniper who became a bestselling nonfiction author. He co-wrote American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History with Scott McEwen and Jim DeFelice, and later co-wrote American Gun: A History of the U.S. in Ten Firearms with William Doyle. American Gun was published posthumously in 2013.
