Lieutenant Abner Fortis and his team, after a challenging mission on Pada-Pada, anticipate a relaxing break on the vibrant plutoid colony of Eros-69. However, they find themselves redirected to the less inviting Eros-28, an industrial colony where two of their own are arrested for drug-related charges. As Fortis grapples with the escalating tensions and corruption surrounding a drug cartel and a potentially larger resistance movement, he must navigate a web of deceit in order to protect his platoon and uncover the truth behind their predicament.
