After the President's declaration renders the Maduro Sector inaccessible, the United Nations of Terra shifts its focus from defense to public services, resulting in the dismissal of thousands of Space Marines and Fleet personnel. As a fundamentalist cult, the Kuiper Knights, begins recruiting these former military members in the Free Sector, concerns about their intentions grow. Tensions on Terra escalate further when a weapons shipment goes missing, prompting Abner Fortis and Petr Ystremski to race against time to prevent a potential war and the deployment of a notorious super weapon known as "The Planet Killer."
