Lauren Francis-Sharma is a Pushcart-nominated novelist and MacDowell Fellow whose critically acclaimed books include ’Til the Well Runs Dry, Book of the Little Axe, and Casualties of Truth. Her writing often explores Caribbean and African diasporic histories, colonialism, migration, identity, and the lasting effects of historical violence. She also reviews books, writes essays and introductions, and serves as assistant director of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference.
