Margaret Wilkerson Sexton is an American novelist born and raised in New Orleans who studied creative writing at Dartmouth College and law at UC Berkeley. Her debut novel, A Kind of Freedom, was longlisted for the National Book Award, followed by the award-winning The Revisioners and On the Rooftop, a Reese’s Book Club pick. Her fiction has appeared in publications including The New York Times Book Review, The Paris Review, and O, The Oprah Magazine.
