Robert A. Forczyk is a military historian and author specializing in European and Asian military history, particularly the Eastern Front of World War II. He has written numerous campaign studies, military biographies, and analyses of land, air, and naval warfare for Osprey and other publishers. Forczyk holds a PhD in International Relations and National Security from the University of Maryland and is a retired U.S. Army Reserve lieutenant colonel who later worked as a consultant.
