Larry Alexander is an American journalist, military historian, and author from Ephrata, Pennsylvania. After a career as a columnist for Lancaster Newspapers, he launched his book-writing career with the 2005 New York Times bestseller Biggest Brother, followed by World War II histories including Shadows in the Jungle, In the Footsteps of the Band of Brothers, A Higher Call, and Bloody Ridge and Beyond. He later turned to historical fiction with the Pacific War novels 76 Hours and Shattered Jade.
