Mark E. Stille is a retired U.S. Navy commander and former intelligence professional who worked for 38 years in the intelligence community, including assignments at the Naval War College, on the Joint Staff, aboard U.S. Navy ships, and at a national intelligence agency. He is the author of almost 50 Osprey books, specializing in Pacific War naval history, battles, campaigns, and warships.
