A Roman Shadow

In the bustling city of York, just before Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year, Detective Chief Inspector John Shadow faces the theft of valuable Roman artifacts and the mysterious disappearance of a Chinese tourist. As he investigates a colorful array of characters, including jewellers and museum curators, Shadow begins to unravel potential connections between the two cases. Known for his solitary nature and sharp attention to detail, he must also navigate the challenge of dodging a significant social event, all while collaborating with his earnest partner, Sergeant Jimmy Chang.
