A Forgotten Shadow

Detective Chief Inspector John Shadow is drawn back to his painful childhood as he investigates the death of a racehorse trainer at Kirkdale Castle, a site haunted by his father's unsolved murder. Amidst the complexities of dealing with the uncooperative aristocracy, Shadow works alongside his eager partner, Sergeant Jimmy Chang, to untangle the web of deceit surrounding the case.
