Through the Brown Mountain Lights

In August 1969, medical student Lizzie Baker embarks on a trip to Woodstock, but when her van breaks down in North Carolina, she ventures alone into the woods and encounters the mysterious Brown Mountain Lights. This encounter catapults her back to the Antebellum South, where she is taken in by three sisters who practice healing. As Lizzie navigates her new life, she forms a friendship with the youngest sister, Abbie, and becomes involved with a plantation owner's son, drawing her into the perilous world of the Underground Railroad. Torn between her longing to return to her time and the challenges of this historical period, Lizzie must decide whether to embrace her new reality or find a way back home.
