Christopher R. Browning is an American historian and author specializing in Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. He is best known for Ordinary Men: Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland, and has written extensively on the origins, policymaking, and perpetrators of the Holocaust. Browning is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
