David Thibodeau is an American author, musician, and survivor of the 1993 Waco siege. His writing career centers on his memoir A Place Called Waco: A Survivor’s Story, later published as Waco, a first-person account of his experiences with the Branch Davidians and the siege at Mount Carmel. He has also contributed to screen adaptations and remains active as a speaker and commentator on the events.
