Rachel Jeffs is an American author best known for her 2017 memoir, Breaking Free: How I Escaped Polygamy, the FLDS Cult, and My Father, Warren Jeffs. In the book, which she also narrated as an audiobook, she recounts growing up in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, surviving abuse and a forced polygamous marriage, and leaving the sect with her five children in 2015. She has also spoken publicly about her experiences and recovery.
