Sally Denton is an award-winning American investigative reporter, author, and historian. Her journalism has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, American Heritage, and other publications, and her first book, The Bluegrass Conspiracy, grew out of her investigative reporting in Kentucky. She writes deeply researched nonfiction about crime, politics, religion, American history, and corporate power, and has received Guggenheim, Lannan, and Western Heritage honors.
