Stephen Davis is an American rock journalist and biographer whose writing career began in music journalism, including work for the Boston Phoenix and Rolling Stone. He became widely known for Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Saga and has since written biographies and memoirs involving major rock artists including Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Guns N’ Roses, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, and Stevie Nicks.
