Don Rearden is an Alaska-born novelist, screenwriter, poet, and nonfiction co-author whose work is deeply shaped by southwestern Alaska and Yup’ik culture. He is best known for the award-winning post-apocalyptic thriller The Raven’s Gift and for co-writing the military memoirs Never Quit and Warrior’s Creed. Rearden also teaches writing as a professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
