Sarah Lark is the pen name of German author Christiane Gohl, born in 1958. After working as a teacher, journalist, commercial writer, and travel guide, she became known for horse books before achieving international success with historical and contemporary family sagas set largely in New Zealand and the Caribbean. She lives in Spain and also writes under other pseudonyms, including Ricarda Jordan.
