A Hope at the End of the World

In the turmoil of World War II, Polish sisters Helena and Luzyna Grabowski lose everything and are sent to a refugee camp in Persia. When relocation to New Zealand offers a glimmer of hope, circumstances force Helena to leave Luzyna behind, leading to a journey filled with guilt and trauma. As Helena tries to rebuild her life in New Zealand, haunted by her past, she struggles to embrace new relationships, including that of James, a charming Allied pilot. Ultimately, she must confront her fears and learn to hope again for a brighter future.
