Fanny Wiggins Kelly (c. 1845–1904) was a Canadian-born pioneer and memoirist whose capture during an 1864 westward journey inspired her best-known work, Narrative of My Captivity among the Sioux Indians, published in 1871. After her release, she devoted her leisure to preparing an account of her experiences for publication; when she alleged that her manuscript had been taken and used for a rival book, she pursued the matter through litigation. Her work is recognized as a notable 19th-century American Indian captivity narrative.
