Where the Heart Lies

Set against the backdrop of February 1941, this story follows Julie Harris, a midwife whose life is upended by a bombing raid that destroys her family. With her responsibilities shifting to caring for her nephew William, Julie moves to Cliffehaven, where she becomes part of the local community at the Beach View boarding house. As the war continues to cast its shadow, she faces challenging circumstances, including her nephew's illness and uncertainties surrounding his father’s fate.
