This audiobook explores the intriguing life of David Burliuk, who is widely regarded as the father of Russian Futurism and played a significant role in the Russian cultural scene before the Revolution. Despite his influence during a pivotal period in modern art, he was shortly afterward largely forgotten in Russia. The narrative includes insights from Evgenia Petrova, highlighting efforts to revive his recognition and address the historical neglect of his contributions.
