Crishell "Shell" McMillan seizes a new opportunity to run her late aunt's pet shop, the Purr N Bark, after her TV series is canceled. As she prepares to reopen the shop, her excitement turns to dread when a museum board member—opposed to lending her aunt's Cary Grant posters for an exhibit—is found dead, making Shell the prime suspect.
