With Carter away on a military mission, Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie find themselves drawn into a mysterious case after a young girl is discovered unconscious in the swamp with no memory of how she got there. As they investigate the girl's origins, including rumors of a secret group known as the Brethren lurking in the area, they uncover long-buried secrets that threaten to complicate their efforts. Swamp Team 3 must navigate dangerous new terrain to piece together the truth and save the girl.
