Blood Enemy

In June 1944 Warsaw, Jan Kalisz, a Polish investigator and double-agent, faces a critical decision as he grapples with the aftermath of a deadly ambush involving a Wehrmacht officer. Amidst rising tensions and with the Red Army approaching, Kalisz's superior permits him to delve deeper into the murder investigation, leading him from war-torn Berlin to the ominous gates of Auschwitz-Birkenau, where he confronts his past and the notorious Doctor Josef Mengele. As the city teeters on the brink, Kalisz must ultimately choose between loyalty to his country and the safety of his family.
