South to Freedom

In 1739 Monck's Corner, South Carolina, Mae Briscoe discovers that a small group of slaves is planning to escape to Florida for freedom. Realizing the danger posed by her master's son, she decides to join them on their perilous journey. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new culture, Mae is compelled by the overwhelming desire for liberty and embarks on a transformative adventure toward freedom.
