The Lost Star Gate

In "The Swarm," Captain Maddox leads his crew on a perilous mission to confront an impending invasion as enemy science vessels gather for an all-out assault. To thwart the Swarm, they devise a plan using a Builder nexus to create a hyper-spatial tube, aiming to infiltrate enemy territory and destroy the nexuses crucial for the Swarm’s incursion into Human Space. However, disaster strikes deep in the Sagittarius Spiral Arm, forcing the crew to contend with a primordial alien force that even the Builders feared, while a massive Swarm fleet looms for a decisive showdown.
