The Lost Intelligence

In "The Lost Intelligence," the twelfth installment of the Lost Starship Series, an ancient alien super-intelligence known as Nostradamus awakens and begins to manipulate humanity for his own purposes, infiltrating the military organization Star Watch. Captain Maddox and his crew aboard the Victory discover this hidden threat in the Tau Ceti System and rush back to Earth to warn others, only to find that Nostradamus is tightening his grip. Despite overwhelming odds and a creature that can anticipate their every move, Maddox and his steadfast allies refuse to give up the fight to protect those they love.
