The Lost Command

In "The Lost Command," the crew of the Starship Victory, an alien spacecraft that has protected its system for millennia, embarks on a new mission on Earth led by Captain Maddox. Their objective is to locate Professor Ludendorff before a group known as the New Men can exploit his expertise to seize control of the ship. As Maddox races against time to repair powerful superweapons and save a beleaguered Star Watch fleet, he also confronts the kidnapping of his ally Meta and the challenges faced by the ship's AI. Will Maddox be able to unite his crew and thwart the New Men's ambitions?
