Echoes of Yesterday

In June 1916, Sergeant Boots Adams and his men find brief respite from the trenches while billeted on a French farm managed by young war widow Cecile Lacoste. Amidst the backdrop of distant gunfire, a poignant friendship blossoms between them, but is abruptly interrupted when Boots is called back to duty and subsequently injured. Returning home to London and the support of his friends, he faces his darkest times, while years later, memories of his time at the Descartes farm resurface through a visit by a friend.
