A Deadly Chapter

In the festive setting of Lighthouse Bay, Massachusetts, Castleton Manor is alive with Christmas cheer as it hosts the Charles Dickens Society's gala, featuring parlor games and a costume ball. However, the merriment takes a dark turn when the society's insufferable president, Charles Huffam, is found dead beneath the village's grand Christmas tree, and suspicion falls on Faith Newberry's boss, Marlene. As Faith navigates a web of motives surrounding Huffam's demise, she enlists the help of her friends and her clever cat, Watson, to uncover the truth before the holiday spirit is further overshadowed by tragedy.
