A Picture of Murder

In late October 1909, the village of Littleton Cotterell is alive with Halloween spirit as Lady Hardcastle and her devoted maid, Florence, host a troupe of actors for a screening of the spooky film The Witch’s Downfall. However, the festivities quickly turn grim when a murder occurs after the first night’s showing, and another follows on the second, with the deaths mirroring the film's eerie plot. With the local police stumped, Lady Hardcastle employs her amateur detective skills, alongside Flo, to investigate the growing list of suspicious characters and unravel the mystery before more lives are lost.
