In 1978 Laos, Dr. Siri, a morgue coroner, finds himself drawn into a chilling mystery when the body of a young woman is discovered, showing signs of a brutal murder but lacking the expected signs of sexual assault. As he investigates, Siri uncovers a disturbing pattern of serial killings targeting women in the rural areas.
