Michael D. O’Brien is a Canadian Catholic author, artist, essayist, and lecturer on faith and culture. He is the former editor of Nazareth Journal and the author of numerous novels, including the apocalyptic Children of the Last Days series, Father Elijah, Island of the World, Theophilos, Voyage to Alpha Centauri, and Letter to the Future. His fiction combines literary and spiritual themes with historical, contemporary, apocalyptic, and speculative storytelling.
