Katie Flynn was the pen name of British author Judy Turner (1936–2019), who began by writing short stories and articles before publishing more than 90 novels under several pseudonyms, including Judith Saxton. Inspired by family memories of early-20th-century Liverpool, she became known for historical romantic sagas and sold more than eight million books. After Turner developed ME, her daughter Holly assisted with her writing and continues the Katie Flynn name.
