Leaford Leven Blevins Jr. is a retired architect who began devoting himself to writing after a distinguished 50-year career in architecture. His work spans the Architecture Without a Scar memoir and essay collection, the historically grounded Yowani Choctaw Saga, and the contemporary Lighthorse Mysteries, which explore architecture, Indigenous history, Native sovereignty, justice, and cultural memory. A citizen of the Choctaw Nation and descendant of the Yowani Choctaw Wind Clan, he combines professional architectural experience with historical research and storytelling.
