Weike Wang is a Chinese-American writer and the author of four novels, including Chemistry, Joan Is Okay, Rental House, and the forthcoming Iris. Her debut, Chemistry, won the PEN/Hemingway Award, a Whiting Award, and earned her a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 honor. Her fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Harper’s Magazine, Ploughshares, and Best American Short Stories, and she teaches at universities including Columbia, Barnard, and the University of Pennsylvania.
