Satoshi Yagisawa is a Japanese novelist born in Chiba Prefecture in 1977 and a graduate of Nihon University College of Art. He made his literary debut with Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, which won the Chiyoda Literature Prize, was adapted into a film, and became an international bestseller. His fiction, including the Morisaki Bookshop and Torunka Café series, focuses on everyday life, human connection, books, and places of belonging.
