David A. Kelly is an American children’s book author best known for the Ballpark Mysteries, Most Valuable Players, and Football Mysteries series. He began writing children’s books after a career in technology and travel writing, publishing his first children’s book, Babe Ruth and the Baseball Curse, followed by numerous sports-themed chapter books, early readers, picture books, and nonfiction titles. His travel and technology writing has appeared in publications including The New York Times and The Boston Globe.
