Heidi Reimer is a Canadian novelist, essayist, and creative-writing coach based in Brockville, Ontario. Her debut novel, The Mother Act, was published in 2024 and received a starred Publishers Weekly review and praise from The New York Times Book Review. Her second novel, What We Found Instead, was published in 2026; her essays and stories have appeared in Lit Hub, Chatelaine, The New Quarterly, Literary Mama, and anthologies including The M Word and Body & Soul.
