Gavriel Savit is an American author and performer whose writing career began with the acclaimed historical novel Anna and the Swallow Man, a New York Times bestseller and 2017 Odyssey Award winner. His subsequent novel The Way Back was a 2020 National Book Award finalist, and Come See the Fair followed in 2023. His books have been translated into nineteen languages.
