G. J. Meyer, also known as Jerry Meyer, is an American author and journalist best known for accessible, narrative-driven popular histories. After working as a newspaper journalist and corporate communications executive, he turned to book writing, publishing histories of the Borgias, the Tudors, and World War I, including A World Undone and The World Remade. He received a Nieman Fellowship in Journalism from Harvard and has taught writing and literature at several colleges.
