Megan Campisi is an American playwright, novelist, and teacher whose plays have been performed in China, France, and the United States. Her debut novel, Sin Eater, won the Historical Writers’ Association’s 2021 Debut Crown Award, and she followed it with The Widow Spy, a historical mystery about the first female Pinkerton detective. Campisi studied at Yale University and the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and teaches at the Neighborhood Playhouse theater conservatory.
