Kate Albus is an American author of historical fiction for young readers. After years of writing scientific-journal articles, she joined a creative-writing group and began writing fiction. Her debut novel, A Place to Hang the Moon, was followed by Nothing Else But Miracles; she grew up in New York and lives with her family in rural Maryland.
