Ruth Dugdall is a Suffolk-based English crime novelist, screenwriter, writing mentor, and Royal Literary Fellow. A former probation officer who worked with high-risk offenders, she draws on that experience to write psychologically astute crime fiction exploring criminal justice, rehabilitation, and human behavior. Her debut novel, The Woman Before Me, won the CWA Debut Dagger Award and the Luke Bitmead Bursary.
