Claire McGowan is a Northern Irish author based in London who writes crime and literary fiction under her own name and women’s fiction as Eva Woods. Her first novel, The Fall, was published in 2012, followed by several bestselling novels, radio plays, screenplays, and nonfiction work. She also ran the UK’s first MA in crime writing and regularly teaches and speaks about writing.
