Larry Collins (1929–2005) was an American journalist and bestselling author who worked for United Press International and Newsweek before turning to book writing in 1964. He became widely known for his long collaboration with Dominique Lapierre, coauthoring extensively researched historical works including Is Paris Burning?, O Jerusalem, and Freedom at Midnight, as well as the thriller The Fifth Horseman. Collins also wrote solo novels such as Fall from Grace, Maze, Black Eagles, and The Road to Armageddon.
